Discover the Adventure
In the central part of the archipelago: we’ll walk across the solidified lava of Capelinhos Cape on Faial Island, hike along the scenic trails of Pico and São Jorge. We’ll discover amazing places known only to us and the locals. During sea passages we’ll enjoy sailing, breathtaking views of the islands, and perhaps even whales. We’ll uncover a magical world in the middle of the Atlantic.
In the eastern part of the archipelago: we’ll explore the picturesque trails of Santa Maria Island, watch the sunset over the ocean from the Ponta do Castelo lighthouse, and circle São Miguel Island with its calderas, lakes, and numerous hot springs. During sea passages we’ll be searching for whales and learning the art of sailing (the first is a must, the second optional). And of course, on both routes we’ll enjoy local wine and farm delicacies that these islands, lost in the ocean, are famous for.

Daily Itinerary
The first day of the journey will be dedicated to exploring the charming town of Horta and handling organizational matters: flight, arrival at the marina, provisioning, settling on the yacht, and a briefing. In the evening, we’ll go out for dinner at one of the island’s best restaurants.

In the morning we’ll leave the harbor and set sail for the neighboring island of Pico. Along the way we’ll hoist the sails: anyone who wishes can take the helm under the guidance of our captain, while others may simply enjoy the enchanting views of the mighty Pico volcano.
By evening we’ll dock at the marina in Lajes do Pico, explore the colorful village once known for its whaling industry (thankfully long gone), swim in a nearby natural pool, and later head to a local restaurant for dinner.

Today we have a big overland program planned! First, we'll head by car toward the summit of Pico (2,351 m). After passing the foot of the volcano with its beautiful views, we'll continue along the ridge, past numerous calderas and lakes.
A little later, we'll set off on a hiking trip through the eastern part of the island, exploring winding paths overgrown with numerous plants. We'll meet cows along the way, say hello to farmers, and stop midway for a swim in a natural pool. Later in the evening, we'll visit one of our favorite restaurants on Pico Island, which offers a stunning view of the ocean!

We'll start the morning with a beautiful view of the Pico volcano. Those who wish can stroll to the black beaches and have breakfast at a local café
overlooking the ocean. During the passage, we'll continue learning sailing skills and navigation, with everyone having the opportunity
to take the helm.
Weather permitting, we'll anchor in the middle of the ocean for a swim! We'll arrive in Velas in the evening. After mooring, we'll stroll through the picturesque town,
and for dinner, we'll head to a seafood restaurant.

Today we'll have a full-day hike ahead of us. The hike will begin at Serra do Topo (1053 m) and descend along the picturesque "dragon" mountain range all the way to the ocean.
Along the way, we'll encounter more beautiful cows, pass through ancient forests, and pass a beautiful waterfall where you can swim. We might even pick raspberries and honeysuckle, which are abundant on the islands. The feeling of discovery will be with us the entire way!
Towards the end of the route, we'll reach the village of Faija da Caldeira do Santo Cristo, located on the shore of a caldera with a lake inside (and what views!). This place is famous for its unique amêijoas mollusks, which live in the basin left by the volcanic eruption.
We'll return to the yacht in the late afternoon, stroll through the town with a view of the Pico volcano, and have dinner at one of the island's best restaurants.

We'll have breakfast, set sail, and set off for Faial Island, where our next adventure awaits!
Along the way, we'll continue teaching sailing skills to anyone interested, and everyone will take the helm.
Faial Island is an ideal destination for nature lovers. The island's landscape features rugged terrain, cliffs, volcanoes, deep valleys, and dark sand beaches. Flowers and trees abound. The island's slopes are covered with plants such as beech, juniper,
moss, cedar, and ferns.

Today we'll spend a day exploring the island. From Horta, we'll drive to Volcan Gorda, the island's highest point (1,043 m).
After our walk, we'll drive down to Capelinhos Point on the western coast, a field of volcanic scoria and hardened lava flowing into the open ocean. We'll climb the Ponta dos Capelinhos lighthouse, which offers a stunning view of the volcano. The last eruption occurred just half a century ago, resulting in the island's expansion by two and a half square kilometers.
On the way back, we'll stop at a natural pool where you can take a dip in the ocean!
In the evening, we'll have a farewell dinner at one of the city's restaurants or on a yacht.

On the morning of the 8th day, we'll wake up calmly, have breakfast, and leave the yacht before 9:00 AM.
